I got a really nice shave the day I recorded this video. I used an adjustable razor along with Vikings Blade Pre-Shave Oil and Sandalwood and Cedar Shaving Cream.

Vikings Blade Sandalwood and Cedar Shaving Cream provides a smooth close, and comfortable shave. It’s SLICK, not thick. I talk about it a lot because I like it and it gives me a great result. However, it may not be in your wheelhouse. Still, give it a try. If, after a couple of uses, you don’t like it, set it aside and come back to it. Things change.

Additionally, I think the approach of this shaving cream may be similar to a product called “Shave Secret.” A friend raves about Shave Secret. Shave Secret is a shaving oil that provides a slick surface for your shave. I’ve not tried it ( I need to). So, if true, it seems I get the best of both worlds with Vikings Blade Pre-Shave Oil and their Sandalwood and Cedar Shaving Cream. A shaving oil and a shaving cream that provide a super slick surface to cut the whisker very cleanly and oh so close! Plus, It fits in with traditional wet shaving in that I can use a shaving brush! Shave Secret cannot be used with a brush, as far as I know.
