It’s another week of B&W George Strips!  I recall drawing this when bungee jumping was the newest craze.  People were jumping off buildings, bridges, canyons and even from crane-hoisted platforms.  Bungee jumping was everywhere.  When drawing this strip, the thing I recall most was making sure I got the spelling of “bungee” correct.
