I drew this strip way back in 2001. Back then, CD burners were all the rage with DVD burners right around the corner. Making copies of your CD collection was a pretty slick feat!  Now, it appears that CD/DVD burners are going the way of the dinosaur as thumb-drives, MP3 players,  and other media  gain popularity.  Pretty soon, kids may look at this strip and wonder what “Burning a CD” means.
