It’s election day! Please exercise your constitutional right (and duty) and vote today. I’m not going to tell you how to vote. That’s not the purpose of this blog. But, it’s important that you do vote.
Voting is good citizenship and makes our country stronger.
This comment is actually about the current George cartoon strip “Message in a bottle”. The lead story in our local mid week paper today was a message in a bottle by some one in Pickering, Ontario Canada which was found in the Hebrides Islands off Scotland across the Atlantic. Such a coincidence!
The message was largely unreadable. The main reason for the paper to run the story is to find the sender.
Wow! Art imitating life or the other way around? That’s neat!:) Made my day!:) Keep me updated!:) I’m interested in knowing how it all turns out!:)
Hi Mark,
There was an update in the paper this week. The bottle was dispatched by a fisherman off the coast of Newfoundland 2-3 years ago. The name and address was his daughter’s who lives in Pickering. He did quite a few bottles, hoping his daughter would receive letters from around the world. She has received postcards from England & Ireland.
Okay, are we saying this bottle boomeranged back a bit? The others made quite a trip! Wow!
