If you were lucky enough to get a new Android phone or Tablet  or even a Kindle for Christmas, then welcome to Linux!

These devices all run a version of Linux.  Why Linux?  Because Linux is open and free.  These companies can obtain Linux without having to pay a hefty license fee.   They can then modify it to meet their needs.

So, the question remains, if you’re already using Linux in one of the devices, why not use Linux on your desktop computer
Linux is free and easy to use. It’s a snap to install. I use the PCLinuxOS Linux distribution.

PCLinuxOS comes with all you need “right out of the box.”

Simply download PCLinuxOS (Gt the KDE Version, it has the most eye candy), creat a CD/DVD, test it out as a live CD, then install right from the desktop. PCLinuxOS will do the rest!

And you’ll be rid of windows and all it’s problems of viruses, spyware, pop-ups, and trojans.

Resolve to make your computer run better and more securely in 2012. Get Linux.
